Postal codes in Malta : ウィキペディア英語版
Postal codes in Malta
Postal codes in Malta were first introduced in Malta in 1991. Like those in the United Kingdom and Canada, they are alphanumeric. Until 2007, they consisted of three letters and two digits, written after the name of the locality. For example, an address in the capital Valletta would have the following postcode.
Malta Chamber of Commerce
Exchange Buildings
Republic Street
Valletta VLT 05

In 2007, MaltaPost changed the postcodes of all Maltese addresses, each post consist of three letters that differ by locality, and four numbers. Under the new system, the postcode for the address above was changed to:
Malta Chamber of Commerce
Exchange Buildings
Republic Street
Valletta VLT 1117
